Three film series and a showroom launch for Wondr Diamonds — product macros shot on black, a coastal lifestyle collection, and the Fusion editorial series. Every frame designed for 9:16 reels.

01The Brief

A diamond jewellery brand that needed its pieces to move.

Wondr Diamonds is a diamond jewellery brand rooted in South India. They came to 7Dots not for stills — they had those — but for motion. Product films that made the stones breathe on screen, lifestyle films that put the pieces on skin in real light, and a Fusion collection series that married traditional Indian design with contemporary styling.

Every film was conceived for 9:16 portrait — built for Instagram Reels and social feeds first, not adapted from landscape afterward.

Three collections, three visual worlds, one camera language.

Approach

We structured the shoot into three distinct series: Product (studio macro on black), Beach (outdoor coastal lifestyle), and Fusion (indoor editorial with styled wardrobe). Each series has its own light and palette, but the camera language — slow, tight, always leading with the jewellery — runs through all three so they feel like one brand, not three shoots.

02Product

Studio. Black. Just the diamonds.

The Product series strips everything away — black background, a single light source, the piece on skin. Bracelets, rings, earrings and necklaces, each in its own 13–18 second film. The camera moves slow enough to catch the fire in every stone, close enough to see the setting work.

03Beach

Coastal light, wind, and the pieces people actually wear.

The Beach series puts the jewellery on a model at the coast — wind in the hair, overcast sky, warm skin. Clover-motif necklaces, layered chains, stacking rings, everyday diamonds. The light does the work: no fill, no bounce, just the coast at golden hour.

04Fusion

Traditional Indian design, contemporary editorial.

The Fusion series is the heart of the shoot. Rose gold knot pendants, a diamond-and-pearl dancing figurine, a peacock necklace over Thanjavur brocade — pieces that reference South Indian craft, shot with an editorial eye. Mauve silks, deep reds, gold brocade bodices against tropical greens.

One film includes text overlays for direct social posting; a clean version was delivered alongside for flexible use.

05Thanjavur Launch

From screen to showroom.

The Thanjavur showroom launch film roots the brand in its geography — Thanjavur dancing dolls in the opening frames, traditional craft meeting diamond design. The film was cut for the showroom launch event and social announcement.
