A comedy channel named after a joke. We built the identity around the two people telling it — illustrated, unmistakable, and printable on a hoodie.

Life's too short for a straight face. Trouser is the laughter riot that ensues in the everyday life of Nandha and Pooja — two creators who turn mundane, everyday occurrences into comedy gold.

From shopping wars (who takes longer? we all know the answer) to the sacred art of hoarding plastic containers (because you never know), the channel captures the hilarious side of relationships. Because life's just better when you're laughing at the madness together.

01The Name

So ridiculous, it's perfect.

A name so outrageous you pause — then burst out laughing. That's exactly the vibe: two wild energies crashing together, turning life into one big joke.

Trouser, a.k.a. Touser. It's about taking a chill pill, embracing the chaos, and laughing till your stomach hurts. Sounds hilarious? Good. You'll never forget it.

Say it enough times and it stops being a word

Say it enough times and it stops being a word

A joke name has to be worth the pause it creates.

Problem

The risk with a name like Trouser is that the joke lands once and then the brand has nothing left. It needed an identity that could carry a weekly upload schedule, sit on merchandise people would actually wear, and still feel like the same two people every time.

02The Crazy Match

Bold, youthful, fun — and worth a thousand words.

Nine routes explored: bubble type, graffiti, stamped, sprinkled, warped. The brief was consistent throughout — loaded with energy and personality, customisable across formats, and doing the work of a thousand words on a thumbnail.

Put the two of them in the logo.

Solution

The winning route stopped treating the wordmark as the brand. Instead the mark became Nandha and Pooja themselves — illustrated, leaning on a red Trouser plaque like they're leaning over a table mid-story. The channel is the two of them, so the logo is too.

03The Sketch

From a pencil rough to a mark you'd recognise at thumbnail size.

It started from their own photographs — a pencil study, then flat illustrated versions of each of them separately. More realistic? More expressive? The notes in the margin are the actual conversation.

04Merch

The Endurance Tote. Holding snacks, sighs & silent screams.

Merchandise is where an inside joke becomes a membership. Badges, keyrings and fridge magnets carry the duo; the apparel carries the punchlines — Thailam Psycho, Triple H ✗ Moonu H ✓, and a tote printed with every complaint a long shoot day produces.

An identity built to be worn, not just watched.

Outcome

The illustrated duo works at every size the channel needs — a profile picture, a thumbnail corner, an embroidered cap — and the voice keeps the joke running across all of it. A name that made people pause now has a face they recognise.

Why be so serious? It's only life.
