A deep-cleaning company in a category of look-alikes. We gave it a mascot with attitude — and a voice that made cleaning sound fun.

It's over for the dirt, folks. The Clean Master is a deep cleaning service that enforces the highest standards of cleanliness — every corner spotless, every surface gleaming, whether it's your home sweet home or your suave workspace. SSGA Facility Management, operating out of Coimbatore across homes, offices, outdoor areas and medical facilities.

Keep calm and chill. We'll handle the drill.

Hello — the mascot introduces himself

01Rules of the Identity Club

Three things every other deep-cleaning brand was getting wrong.

Most of the category was stuck in the past with outdated design. The goal was to keep it fresh, modern and striking — because clean should look cool too.

Competing brands sounded formal, robotic and boring. We wanted a mascot that was witty, sharp, and carried a spark that made cleaning fun.

And cleaning isn't a weightlifting competition. Where other mascots flex biceps, we focused on precision and expertise instead.

Muscles don't impress. Mastery does.

The brief/Rule 03

A category that all looked the same, and none of it looked clean.

Problem

Deep cleaning is bought on trust, but the visual language of the category communicated neither care nor competence — generic blues, stock imagery, and mascots built like bodybuilders. Nothing signalled the thing customers actually want, which is somebody meticulous enough to be trusted with their home.

02A Light Bulb Moment

What if his hair was a cleaning brush?

The character came out of the service itself — quirky attributes borrowed from the tools of the trade. A mop for hair. A minimal form that stays legible at any size. Sassy and bossy rather than muscular. Green, because the brand is built on environment-friendly practice. And above all, fun to animate.

The mascot brief

  • Hair like a cleaning brush
  • Sassy & bossy
  • A minimal form
  • A style icon
  • Fun to animate
  • Green for sustainability
  • Zesty

The mascot as drawn and shipped

The mascot as drawn and shipped

A ten-year-old with the authority of a boss.

Solution

The archetype is The Ruler: a commitment to the highest standards. Authoritative in enforcing protocol, organised in method, exacting in inspection, responsible for keeping a space safe. But drawn as a young character rather than a stern one — stern enough to be trusted, soft enough to be liked.

03The Logo

The mascot is the mark.

Vertical stack and horizontal stack, in green on white and reversed out of the orange patch. The character sits inside the lockup rather than beside it, so the brand is recognisable even when the words are too small to read.

04Colour

Clean, green and vibrant — in that order.

The palette carries the commitment to environment-friendly practice, a serene atmosphere, and the energy behind top-notch service. Sustainability green leads at seventy per cent, a lighter clean green supports at twenty, and orange is held back to ten — used only to highlight.

05Pattern & Type

A pattern that mimics the strokes a mop leaves behind.

Two patterns carry the brand across surfaces: one drawn from the sweep of a cleaning tool, the other combining elements of the old logo with the new. Comfortaa sets body text; Barnebok handles titles.

06Brand Voice

Bold. Witty. Sassy. Fun.

The voice does what the mascot does: takes the job seriously without taking itself seriously. Short, confident, a little cheeky — lines you'd actually repeat.

Lines

  • Cleaning chaos? Leave it to the BOSS!
  • Done & Dusted!
  • Scrub-a-dub-dub, leave it to the Clean Club!
  • Mess managed, stress vanished!
  • Not on my watch!
  • Dust bunnies? More like dust dummies!

07Out in the World

Uniforms, caution boards, sachets, name badges, a duffel bag.

The identity had to survive being printed on a polo shirt, a folding caution sign left in a stranger's hallway, and a room-freshener sachet. Every touchpoint carries either the lockup or the mascot alone.

08Social Media Star

A mascot earns its keep by showing up every week.

This is where the character pays for itself. Festival greetings, service posts, carousels — the mascot dresses for the occasion and the voice keeps its edge, so a cleaning company gets to be the most likeable account in its category.

Outcome

The mascot turned a functional service into a character with opinions — one that can headline a caution board, a room freshener and a Diwali post without losing the thread. Precision, expressed as personality.
